DUKE vs. UNC at Rosebud

UNC and Duke's men's basketball teams, who have the biggest rivalry in college sports, will face eachother once again on February 10th. Come watch the game with us at the bar! From 5:30-10 p.m. we will be serving Eastern North Carolina style Riverview Farms pork plates with traditional sides for $10. We will also be featuring a selection of beers local to the area, from both Duck Rabbit (Farmville, NC) and Highland (Ashville, NC) Breweries.

Blood Orange Fresca

This drink is yummy and refreshing with or without alcohol - whatever you are in the mood for. Blood oranges are in season and this is a drink Jeff has been playing around with. We used Muddy Sorghum Syrup from Tennessee to make ours.

1 cup fresh squeezed blood orange juice
1 cup blood orange puree
½ cup spring water
½ cup soda water
8 oz. sorgum syrup

Mix all ingredients. Serve over ice. If desired, add liquor.
